Access to Password Protection

In the editor it is possible to add password protection to specific pages. You can manage users' access in the Users section of the CRM tab or in the dashboard on the Home tab.

1. Password Protection

Add password protection to specific pages in the editor by defining it on the page settings and using the User Login module. Read all about how to password protect pages here!

2. Manage Password Protection

You can see the password protection status in the Users section of the CRM tab. There are five possible status:

2.1. Invited

When the status is Invited it means that you have invited the user to create a password to access password protected pages but the user hasn't followed through yet.

2.2. Active

When the status is Active it means that the user has already defined a password and has access to password protected pages.

2.3. Pending

When the status is Pending it means that the user has requested access to password protected pages but you haven't followed through.

2.3.1. Finding pending requests

You can find your pending requests in this section or on your dashboard.

2.3.2. Handling pending requests

When you have pending requests, there are two actions you can take - approve it or decline it. Keep in mind that once you have approved the user you should collect other data about them and attribute them to a group to fully optimize your CRM.

2.4. Rejected

When the status is Rejected it means that you have rejected the user's access request. The user doesn't have access to password protected pages.

2.5. No status: -

If the Protection status is blank it means that not only have you not sent an invitation to the user, but he hasn't asked for request as well. The user won't have access to password protected pages.


3. Changing Password Protection Status

At any time, it is possible to manage the users' access to password protected pages. To do so, simply select the user(s) which status you wish to change, followed by pressing the desired action - approve or reject access. Please note that the user will be automatically notified by email once you have approved their request to access password protected pages.
