The Open Now Module can be styled locally or globally. The advantage of global styling is that it automatically styles all the Open Now Modules on your website at the same time, creating a consistent theme and saving your time. It is possible to find the Open Now Global Styling under the Module Design section of the Global Styling tab of the editor.
1. Opened Text
In this section it is possible to style the text when the business is open. The styling can be done in terms of font color, size, family, weight, line height, letterspacing, text decoration, italic and uppercase options. Furthermore, it is possible to define the alignment of the text and a background color specific to this scenario. Finally you can define the padding.
2. Closed Text
In this section it is possible to style the text when the business is closed. The styling can be done in terms of font color, size, family, weight, line height, letterspacing, text decoration, italic and uppercase options. Furthermore, it is possible to define the alignment of the text and a background color specific to this scenario. Finally you can define the padding.
3. Background
With this option you can choose a solid color as the background for the module, if you haven't defined background colors for each status - opened and closed. If you have defined background colors to the opened and closed text, the editor will overwrite the color defined in this section.
4. Border
Here you can define the module's border color, width, style and radius.
5. Spacing
When styling the spacing you can define the margin - which adjusts the space outside of an element; and padding - which adjusts the space inside of an element.
6. Apply Global Styling
As soon as you save your Global Styling, all the Open Now Modules will inherit that design. However, if later you choose to style an open now module locally, it will overwrite the global styling but only for that specific module. Click here to read more about the Open Now Module local styling!
