Opening Hours Module

With this module you can add your business' opening hours to your website. It is possible to find the Opening Hours Module in the Basic Modules menu, add it to your website by dragging it from the top bar to a row or column of your preference.

 


Edit the Opening Hours Module

To open the editing menu, double-click on top of the module you wish to modify or hover the mouse on top of it to find the blue Module menu and click on the Edit option.

 

1. Content

1.1. Use Opening Hours from Global Data

Instead of manually adding your opening hours to the module, you can use the hours you have added in Global Data. To activate this option, simply toggle on in the right side. When you use the Opening Hours from Global Data you only need to input the hours once and the information will be automatically filled in all the relevant fields. 1.2. Manually Adding Opening Hours

You also have the possibility to manually add the opening hours. Simply fill in the relevant fields for each day of the week. To do so, simply click on the calendar icon on the left side of each field and scroll up or down until you find the right time. Alternatively, click on top of the field and type down the time. 

 

1.2.1. Closed or Open All Day

When defining the opening and closing hours, by scrolling all the way to the top of the dropdown menu, you will find the "Closed" and "All Day" options. These options should be used if your business is closed in a particular day or if it is open during the whole day, respectively. When doing so, you only have to input the option on the left side field and leave the right side blank.


1.2.2. Add Hours

In case you wish to display another interval, e.g. lunch time, simply click on the + icon on the right side of each day.

 


1.2.3. Delete Hours

To delete an interval you have added simply click on the trash icon on the right side.

 

1.3. Special Opening Hours

You might have special opening hours for specific holidays, events or celebrations. Enter the title of the occasion on the field and then click on + Add Date.

 

1.3.1. Add Date

Click on the first field to select the day, the second field to select the opening hours and the third field to select the closing hours.

 


2. Styling 

2.1. Background

With this option you can choose a solid color as the background for the module.

 

2.2. Border

Here you can define the border color, width, style and radius of the module.

 

2.3. Spacing

When styling the spacing you can define the margin - which adjusts the space outside of an element; and padding - which adjusts the space inside of an element.

 

3. Settings

3.1. Combine Similar Opening Hours

By activating this option the editor will automatically group the days with the same opening hours instead of individually displaying each day.

 

3.2. Title if Closed

In this section you can define what should be the text displayed in the module when the business is closed.


3.3. Title if Open All Day

In this section you can define what should be the text displayed in the module if the business was set to be open all day.


4. Date Settings

When displaying the opening hours, there are different date and time formats to choose from. To edit the date format, hover over the language of your website and open the Language Settings. Under Format you will find relevant settings to define the way you display your opening hours - date format, weekday format and 24 hour system. Read more about Language Settings here!

 

5. Opening Hours Global Styling

It is possible to style all the Opening Hours modules simultaneously and to find other styling options with Global Styling. Under the Global Styling tab, there is a Module Design option on the left menu. Click on it to expand the options and you should find the Opening Hours menu.
